School Governors Index Welcome to the School Governors pages in the Castleton School website.  It is a little-known fact that, while School Governing Body meetings are held in private (any interested members of the comunity can attend by invitation only), the agenda items and the minutes of all the meetings are public documents.  The governing body have decided to make available all the minutes and agendas from our meetings, on an ongoing basis, and it was thought that the easiest and best way of doing this was to include them in a section of the Castleton CP School website. On these pages you will find an introduction to the work of the governing body, by our Chair of Governors Mrs. Delia Liddle, a list of all the current year's (2009) minutes and agendas, an archive of all previous year's minutes and agendas and finally a page with weblinks to internet sites that are relevant to school governors and those wishing to find out more about the job.
